While in Memphis we also decided to check out the Lorraine
Motel, which is where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed. The motel is shut down with a memorial in front of room 306 right on that balcony where he was shot. There is a peace to that place with the quiet reminder that, "you can kill the dreamer, but you can't kill the dream".
