Valley of the Temples

On Thursday we had a long, fun-filled day with our friends Ben and Tasha.  Since they are leaving in less than a week to go back to the main land for work we decided to cruise the island and do as many fun things as possible in one day.  Our first stop was to the Valley of the Temples.  The Byodo-In temple is a Buddhist temple that was constructed as an exact replica of a temple in Japan.  The grounds were very pretty and it was really neat to see, it almost felt like we were in Japan.
