D.C. part II- The White House tour

Monday was the day we got to tour the White House.  Before we went though we had the opportunity to meet with the President and CEO of the American Dental Hygiene Association down in D.C. and hear them speak.  It was a really neat experience and very empowering!

After that we made our way over to the White House
It took forever to get through all the security points but once we finally did we were so excited to be on the grounds of the White House
 The secret service cars

The Marine standing outside the doors of the Oval Office indicated that the President was inside his office

This was my favorite picture: John Travolta and Princess Diana dancing inside the White House

What is this long pole that was just sitting in the corner of the room?
A ladder
The section of books on religion.  I searched high and low for a Book of Mormon but couldn't find one...

They were in the middle of setting up for some event (this was the room where most of the events take place)
