One of the days while we were in Bangkok we decided to do a day tour which took us around other nearby cities to do some of our top "bucket list" items while we were there. We started that day at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, then went and walked along the bridge over the River Kwai, stopped to have lunch at a local Thai restaurant, and then ended the day at an elephant camp (which will have a post dedicated all to itself).
The floating market was one of the things I was most excited to experience while in Thailand. It is an active market on the water with vendors selling and buying things from their boats. Although there were many people trying to barter with all of us tourists it was still an experience I loved.
The next stop was to the bridge over the River Kwai where we where we learned all about the history of the bridge and how it is part of the Death Railway.
Then we stopped for a delicious Thai lunch out in the middle of nowhere. They brought us so much food and it was all amazing!
