Our year in Review

2011 in Review:

This past year was honestly one of the best years of both of our lives.  So many exciting things happened and so many memories were made.  Here are a few of the highlights..

We started off the year as an engaged couple as we prepared ourselves for our last few months in Rexburg Idaho.

In April I graduated with my 2 best friends.  We met each other at the start of our college career and were with each other all four years until the end.  

Exactly a week after graduation I married the most amazing guy in the world and we had the most amazing wedding ever!

We then spent a whole week in Cancun on our honeymoon in a beautiful resort having the time of our lives and soaking up every minute of newlywed life together

Summer we lived in Boise and had lots of fun adventures.

One day we had to make a business trip to California.  We left around 10 o'clock at night, took turns driving a box van all through the night only stopping for gas and to use the bathroom until we finally made it.  It was a very memorable and kinda crazy road trip together.

And since on that trip we didn't have time to stop at Disneyland instead on our way back we made a stop at the border of Nevada to ride that big roller coaster and log ride.  Almost as good as Disneyland.

We also got to stop in St. George and see my brothers and we made it in time for my cousin Cameron's mission farewell.  It was definitely a successful trip that we will always remember.

That summer we enjoyed lots of fun camping adventures with our friends.  The best was when we packed up some four-wheelers and drove them up to the top of a mountain, pitched a big 8 man tent, and enjoyed a nice peaceful weekend together

We soaked in as much time as we possibly could with our adorable nieces and spoiled them constantly.

We also came to the realization that having one kid will be hard, but having two kids...much harder.

We got to spend some time boating at the lake with our friends.  We had fun tubing until shortly
after
this picture was taken the three of them held on so tight that one sudden turn they were all thrown off and they took the whole cover right off with them.  They de-gloved the tube and it was no longer usable.  It was sad for the tube but so funny to watch.

I also learned how to wake-board for the first time.  Very exciting.

In September we packed up 8 suitcases and moved to Hawaii.

So far living here has been an amazing experience and we really love it.

We have been spending as much time as we can at the beach and doing all the fun things there is to do here in Hawaii.

We will continue to blog all of our little adventures we have in this new year and we are so excited for what 2012 will bring us.
